Mt. Iimori is where 19 young Byakkotai (lit. “White Tiger Brigade”) samurai died. This tourist spot has many stone steps, but you can reach the summit by taking two moving walkways and climbing the last 45 steps.

Mt. Iimori Tourist Information Center is closed during winter (early December to late March).
Information is available from the Mt. Iimori Tourist Information Center and the ticket office for the moving walkway, which is at the start of the route. Because part of Mt. Entrances
It is an outdoor tourist spot and has many steps along the path because it is a steep mountain. There is a moving walkway that goes part way up.
There is a fee to use the moving walkway (250 yen/adult, 150 yen/child, 150 yen/disability concession. The moving walkway is not an escalator, but a conveyor belt on an upward incline so users need to be careful not to fall backwards. Please note that the moving walkway cannot be used while seated in a wheelchair.
Be careful of steep 1 slopes.
Go along the sidewalk, part of which has tactile paving, and then cross the road to the start of the Mt. Iimori mountain path.
Please note that wheelchairs users cannot use the mountain path while seated in their wheelchairs.

There are no toilets on Mt. Iimori.
Mt. Iimori Tourist Information Center is closed during winter (early December to late March), but the Multi-purpose toilets are open year-round. The nearest toilets are those listed here as well as inside the souvenir shop Kosen Koboshi at the entrance to the mountain path.
